We’re Adam and Cass — the founders of Lummy & Co.

Lummy & Co is a Central Coast NSW based construction business specialising in quality renovations and residential builds. With over a decade of industry experience, we take a practical, considered approach to every project, focusing on clear processes, strong workmanship, and the details that matter. Our goal is simple: transforming houses into homes.

We believe a home should feel lived in, connected, and deeply personal. That’s why we put care into every detail, creating spaces that not only look beautiful, but function effortlessly for everyday life.

Specialising in renovations, extensions, new builds and second-storey additions across the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie NSW, we collaborate closely with our clients to bring thoughtful, functional homes to life balancing practicality, craftsmanship, and timeless design in every project.

Our Process

We believe a smooth and successful project starts with clear communication, thoughtful planning, and complete transparency from the very beginning. Our process is designed to give clients confidence and clarity at every stage, with regular updates, open communication, and a collaborative approach throughout the entire journey.

From initial consultation through to final handover, we operate as one coordinated team. Being well connected in the industry is part of how we deliver - it means we bring together the right consultants, engineers, certifiers, suppliers and specialist trades for your project. With strong relationships already in place, we ensure every detail is carefully considered so your build runs as seamlessly as possible.

Behind the scenes, our contract administrator, Dan - ensures all documentation, design coordination and project details are carefully managed from the outset. With a background in Architecture and construction project management, he helps keep each stage structured, compliant and aligned so nothing is missed throughout the build.

If you’ve got the project lined up but need finance sorted, we can help there too. We know a trusted finance professional who works across residential, investment and business lending, not just construction. If it makes sense for your situation, we’ll make the introduction early, so you’ve got clarity on numbers before we start.

We’re always happy to answer questions along the way - no question is ever a silly question because we believe informed clients feel more confident and supported throughout the build process.

Through our Homes to Hearts initiative, this has taken shape in simple, meaningful ways over the years. From supporting organisations like O.U.R Rescue, getting behind Free Trade Days, and contributing where we can to local not-for-profits such as We Care Connect, it’s never been about scale — it’s about showing up when we’re able, in ways that feel genuine to us.

But building isn’t just about plans and materials — it’s about people. We’re family people ourselves, so we genuinely understand what families and people need to feel at home. From day one, you’ll have a team that listens, cares, and is focused on bringing your vision to life.

  • Yes, we are a fully licensed and insured residential builder, committed to delivering safe, compliant and high-quality construction.

  • Ideally, yes — we recommend clients move out during major renovations for safety reasons. If moving out isn’t possible, exceptions can be made and we’ll work with you to manage the build safely around your needs.

  • Yes. For smaller scale projects, we can assist with specific design elements and planning. If you already have a design consultant, we’ll work alongside them and can help finalise documentation for council approval if needed.

  • Yes. We provide end to end project management across all stages of the project from initial planning to pre-construction through to completion and handover. Our approach is highly coordinated, bringing together clients, consultants, trades and our internal team to ensure every stage is managed with clarity and structure.

  • We work with a carefully curated network of trusted trades and subcontractors who we know deliver consistent quality, reliability and professionalism. Over time we’ve built strong relationships with these teams, allowing us to maintain high standards across all aspects of construction.

  • Yes. Understanding your budget from the outset helps ensure the design, scope and expectations are aligned from the beginning. It allows us to provide realistic guidance and tailor solutions that suit your investment, avoiding time spent exploring options that may not be practical. We approach every project with transparency, so decisions are informed and outcomes are achievable.

  • Ideally, you’ll have DA or CDC approval plus engineering and all construction documents ready, so we can move straight to building. 

    Not quite there yet? No problem. We can point you in the right direction and work alongside your design consultant to help get plans and documentation finalised for council approval.
